I am thinking of buying 60 units for £6.95 on Find My Past to search the army records.

I am still looking for the elusive Abraham Nowell, who married Mary Atkinson while a recruiting sergeant based in Settle in 1794. I have narrowed the army records down to one year 1794 and it comes up with 2 pages of armed forces births 1761 - 1994 (Abraham was born in 1763 according to his death certificate)

What do you think the chances are of me finding my Abraham, has anyone looked at the army records on Find My Past.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated please, as this man is driving me nuts, his birth is nowhere to be found
