A tinman was someone who made or repaired things made from tin.

Thank you Margaret & Christina. Whoever transcribe the record has taken the tick as a 1 making everyone 10 years older.
Do you know what a tinman was please?

I agree with Christina, tinman.
Also agree with the wrong ages for the children. The enumerator has put a tick mark beside the ages making John's age 19 instead of 9 and Harry's 16 instead of 6.

It looks like tinman to me. For more people to help you may need to change your birth dates from the 90s to the 80s as Ancestry have transcribed them wrongly.

Would some kind person take a look at the 1901 Census to see if they can decipher the occupation please.
John Arnold Head, Eliza Wife, John 1892 Son, Harry 1895 Son & Lily 1896 Daughter address 29 Tottenham Road, London.
