Scottish marriages

Many Thanks for your comments. The only thing I do know is the girls maiden name hence the thought that I would be able to hunt through the online marriages. The only other thing I have is her place & Dob here in England. This lady is a member of my wife's extended family who may have more vital information for us

Even when they are put online, the images will not be available to view, it will only be the names and year.
You will be able to order the certificate, but you can do that now if you know the names and year.
Either contact Gros or any Registrar's office.

There is no mention on ScotlandsPeople about when later marriages are being added

Would anybody know when the Scottish marriage records will go 'online'. Scotlands People site says 'soon'.
