Margaret

In BC you get a Gold Card that you can use to get concession fares on transit ............. it's just the Care Card in a different colour.

3 years ago when I turned 65 I also got a new SSI card ...... fancy picture but the same SS number. They no longer issue that ...................... within about 2 years all the writing had worn off!

I get my prescriptions free now. (For my dementia, you know, when I imagine the screen has changed colour!)

Gosh, Yes!

I had forgotten that's where you were! - sorry.

There must be something you get for nothing now you have become a 'senior citizen' ?

Bus pass???
Something else we don't have in Canada, I guess.

You are O.K. Margaret and 'Congratulations' to you!

Have you got your bus pass yet??

Strange isn't it? - If anyone asked you what colour the GR screen was you probably couldn't tell them, even though, like me, you look at it almost every day.

It took me days to realise why it 'didn't look right'

Just TOO confusing for us 'elderly folk' !! (Tee hee) !

Thanks for mentioning that, I thought dementia was setting in. I just became a senior citizen last week and thought it was starting to show.
So, I'm OK, I'm as sane as the rest of you.
UH OH!!!

Well, - At least it's not just me then - I thought my eyes were going funny!

It took me a day or two to realise what was happening - I just kept looking at the screen and thinking something was not right.

Then I realised it was a colour difference.

Thanks for the reply - I can relax now and wait for it to 'sort itself'.
