Hi all, my Great Granfather worked as a hotel porter
in1891 at the Queens Hotel and 1901 at the Grand Hotel in eastbourne. I would like to spend some time trying to find out more about him. I was wondering if any one would know if records excist for this kind of research.

You could write to the hotels - if they still exist - they might well have archived records of some sort. Failing that contact the local Records Office to see if they have anything.

Researching:
London: Faber, Haysey, Spicer ...
