Tina

Be aware that the partial index only has births up to 1927 and there are a lot of gaps. If you go to the freebmd website, you can see graphs of what has been transcribed.

Freebmd is more uptodate than Ancestry so will have some that Ancestry doesn't.

On Ancestry you can do that on births 1984 - 2007

Also on partial index - same as FreeBMD - but only after qtr 4 1911 as that is when the mmn is shown

on Ancestry please.

Read on here yesterday someone saying its easier to search for births as you can type in both parents surnames and then the search returns possibles children.

Is it really that easy ? Have i had Ancestry for 2 years and not realised that it is that easy? I have always searched per quarter, per year not found much this way either or am i dreaming it this easy ?

Also if it is possible please do tell me how to do it.

Thanks Tina
