subdistrict percy. other than that so far there are only francis/franks born 1897 and 1900.

the census is indexed and automated and very user friendly. just put in ontario and type in the surname and they will all come up - but you can not filter for first name in this case as there are too many variations and if there is an initial after the first name it will not be included in the filter.

Is he the one that Jim Found whose next-of-kin was David Evans in Reading Berkshire?

I know very little about Francis other than what I have found over the last couple of days. He did serve with Canadian Army and signed up in 1915. I am currently trawling the shipping records for Canada to see if I can find him. I have no idea why and when he went.

There's a Frank Evans on the 1911 census but he was born March 1894 in England and emigrated 1904. He's a servant in the Richardson home in Northumberland, Ontario. Was he a home child?

The only male Francis Evans on the 1911 census was born in Ontario. Do you know when he emigrated?
