You can write to the following address and they will do a 10 year search for a divorce which costs approx. £25 to £30 :-

PRINCIPAL REGISTRY
FIRST AVENUE HOUSE
42-49 HIGH HOLBORN
LONDON WC1 6NP
NOTICE

I think there are some early divorce records at the National Archives.

This may be a really stupid question but can you get info of Divorce records from anywhere?
