George Moreton and Mary Mayer were my great grandparents from the Burslem area of Stoke On Trent. Both were born in 1855. I would love to know their parentage and beyond if possible. Can anyone help please. I know their history, or some of it that applies to my family, from the 1901 census and am certain about other census's but would appreciate definate knowledge if anyone has some. |

This one (1871) fits your age/birthplace criteria, but as suggested above, you'd be well advised to get the marriage cert for father details. It would be £7.00 well spent |

There are 2 Mary Mayers born about the same time in Burslem. I have to go with the previous suggestions. You have to buy that marriage certificate to get fathers' names. |
