No - looking at the page - everyone not born in Wales is marked with a tick which is crossed through as part of a count and re-count when collating the statistical data about the area for the census figures. |

Looks like the enumerator was justing using it as a colomn to tick people off. he's done the same thing on many pages |

hi i wonder if somenone could have a look at this 1901 census image for me . in the column where it states deaf dumb etc.. all the family have a cross . what does this mean |
