Does anyone have an answer , why a death date after 1920, cannot be traced anywhere?
Other than they did not die in this Country.

They can't be found on Free BMD after the 1920's.

You need to look through the complete indexes.

Are you saying that you have checked the complete death index up to present day......or have you just looked on Freebmd, which only goes up to the 1920's?

Does this relate to your request on Records?

You can use FreeBMD to do a complete search. You need to go into images - then you can go through qaurter by quarter. It's a much much slower process than using Ancestry but it's free and it's your own time and no-one else's. Easy.

Go in through images Reggie - I found it by messing around in there a few weeks ago. It's really clunky so I didn't stay around long - I assume all the pages are there although stand to be corrected if not ...

Jill, yes you are correct, the images are there up until 1935 for births, not sure about the rest, probably no later though.

Edit just checked marriages and deaths, they appear to be there up to 1935 as well.

go to freebmd and look at the images Kay - they are not easy to use but if you know within a couple of years what your looking for it won't be too bad.

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

click on "view images" and complete about 4 drop downs
