The only one I can think of is the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site which is at:-

www.cwgc.org

This will only give you details of date and place of death and sometimes next of kin details (not army records), but you can print off a "certificate".

Does anyone know the site for looking up military (army) records?

I think the site I'm looking for allowed you to print a sort of certificate and I'm sure it was free.
