This is a long, long shot into a rather dark room. I am looking for a man believed to be in the Canadian or Scottish army around 1942 in East Sussex. How would i find out? All i have is a surname and thats not certain but if i could maybe look i would know?
I know that sounds crazy and im not comfortable posting the details i do have because the person i am looking for is the father of one of my relatives who is living.
Please if anyone could help me please either post or PM me.
Thanks,
Lou

No the birth certificate has a name on it that couldnt physically be his father as the named father died 2 years almost to the day before the birth.
Any please help?
