Parish Records

I have come to terms with the fact that I may never find my 5* G Grandparents on the 1841 census.

So, I thought it might be worth trying to find them in parish records.

So, can anyone recommend any online or on cd parish records for merionethshire?

(I don't live close, have no car and have two young children so visiting records offices is out for now at least.)

Clair.

- this might be useful too (if it is up to date)

- individuals will do one-off look-up requests in the material they have access to

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It seems that it is now part of Gwynedd - this is the family history society, but it looks as if most of their publications are microfiche.

PS 2 small children plus genealogy - never easy !

No, it's not like some exciting hobby that they might enjoy part of!
Sitting looking at old records would not thrill them.

I'll have a look at gwynedd.org tomorrow and see what's what.

Thanks.
