If you have a reasonable size screen, open up two copies of windows explorer. Resize them so they sit side by side on the screen. Then use your mouse to drag (left click and hold) files to where you want them

Could you use Windows explorer to see what folders you have on each drive at the moment? Once you have the list open, you might be able to use "File, new, folder" to create the folders you want and to sort your files into the folders?

I have taken a lot of things off my computer and put them on a portable hard drive but the thing is I want to put them in the correct folder but not sure how to do this any one help please
