I remember the Stratford Express when I lived in that part of the world.

Will look at the newham recorder site. and see what they can offer me.

In which case The Newham Recorder www.newhamrecorder.co.uk is probably what you need.

Another possibility is The London Evening Standard which is widely read by Londoners

Some Newspapers have columns where you can put ads in asking for any rellies. Lost Relatives or such.

Can anyone tell me if there is a Newspaper in the Forest Gate area where I can put such an ad in for my lost Relatives.

My mother's family coming out of the woodwork, but can find no rellies on my father's side who came from this area.

Would be obliged for any information or help you could give me.
