	There could be many reasons for her disappearance, Death, Emigration, marriage or just calling herself by another name. People in workhouses are also in the census's, a very small percentage got left off but there are also a lot of institutions that just give peoples intials and not full names.. Maybe she was one of them?? Carrie

Member Since: December 2007 Posts: 76 Send Message	I have a relative that had a daughter and then seems to disappear, could she have gone in to the work house and thats why she won't be showing up on any census's? It's driving me mad! Thank you in advance.
