Hi all,
don't know if any1 can help me or advise me, but ordered a marriage certificate online from GRO 12th May, and getting quite concerned it hasn't arrived yet.
Is any1 else experiencing such lengthy delays, or could my certificate have been lost in the post maybe ???

Well I had 2 wait about 3 weeks 4 my last certificate but this one will be 4 weeks 2morrow...getting quite frustrated now

Thanks Joan, that info is useful, wil perhaps give it this week and if I still haven't received it by Friday shall look in2 contacting them

Wel exactly...quick enough 2 have our money...meanwhile my membership on here is being wasted because I can't research any further until I have that certificate

I'm still waiting one ordered on 10 May. The other two I ordered at the same time have turned up but still waiting on the other one.

I have emailed them - but they state a 9 day wait for a reply! Could be Christmas before i actually get it.

Hmmmm....well it looks like we are all experiencing problems...where identity theft is concerned though, I will not be trying to steal the identity of someone born in the 1800's...don't think I'll get away with it somehow LOL : 0

Lol Julie, I was thinking the same thing.
Don't think i'll pass myself off as Myrtle Williams b. 1850 (I look pretty well for being so old though!!)

I'M STILL WAITING for my certificate to arrive...have emailed them about this and just hope they can sort this out SOON.

I finally got mine today!! Ordered on 10th May - delivered on 14th June!
Now that's service for you. Lol.

I don't blame you!! Dreadful service isn't it?

I phoned them after waiting 4 weeks for mine. The lady on the phone was lovely and I got my certificate two days later!!
