As an extracted record it is reasonably trustworthy.
I cannot find Houghton by Settle on any modern maps. However, Long Preston is about 5 miles south of Settle on the A65, so this could be him. Nevertheless, you need to do some more investigation - see if you can find an early 18C map of the area - because I would imagine that Stephen Watson is a common name in the area. For example, there was another Stephen Watson baptised 1820 in Gargrave, which is about 15 miles south-east of Settle, also on the A65:
