For a limited period The Times Archive is free to search all its newspapers from 1785-1985

You have to register but once done it is easy to search either actual dates or names

I have just tried to register and the page sends an error message

Error 404 page could not be loaded

The address it gives in the times today is:

There is a big article about it. Linda that happened to me first time and then I retried and it was OK.
