mary ann bowley has gone missing in 1881

she is with her family in 1871 and before, in 1891 her husband john is a widower living with his housekeeper

i have found her possible death in 1880 but the reason im confused is that in 1881 it says john is married (not widowed)

i cant find mary ann anywhere else in 1881
