Mining Accident Deaths Reported?

HI, I have a couple of brothers killed in mining accidents (or single accident) around 1900 in Northern Ireland. Could someone give me an idea if and where I might find these reported on the internet. Their last names were Shields and they were born after 1878 and before 1905. Thanks for any leads on this

I would think the deaths would have been reported in the local newspapers. You might also find something at the Public Records site for Northern Ireland:
