Some ask for the cheques to be made out to the county council.

Have a look at the website for the office(s) concerned, if you don't know the web addy's then check through the county boards on the wiki on FTF.

Pick the relevant county/counties and scroll down each county page for address/e-mail/phone and url links.

Another tip..........

If applying for say two certs from an office make your cheque out for ..."not more than £14"... that way if they can only supply one cert you don't have to write out replacement/separate cheques.
It saves sending 2x £7 cheques.

I am just about to send cheques to a couple of different registry offices for certificates, do i make the cheques payable to The Registrar, the Registry Office or something else.....
