So Sorry everyone not ignoring you all !! been watering the garden!! thak you LL and Ivy guess I will order a few certs If I dont take a chance i may miss out finding the right one ,I did that with a g,g,aunt sent for three at once two were unreadable so they didnt send them but the one they did send was her in the last place on earth I exspected to find her so take a chance again is what ill Do thank you one and all.Jean.

I agree with LL, you do not need to name both parties when ordering a marriage certificate.

I would order the marriage certificate if I were you. You have the date, references and your grandfathers name.

Hi Reggie sorry ive no Idea only info was given to me by relation whose now sadly passed on ,was it was Sarah...{maybe??}you see I have my Grandfather's war {Boar records from 1886} that he claims to have a wife SARAH living at 215 Victoria road Custom House E16.but by searching found it was his sister's house ,But in 1901 He then married my Granma a Harriet Dwyer he was 36yrs old by then and living at the same address, and on their marriage cert he says he's a widow.But Ive seached and searched and sent for many certs all of which have been wronge,and cant find a death for a Sarah Martin {as she would have been }Jean.

How can I find who a john Martin Married ?its down twice but no bride on either {John Martin Dec qtr 1885.....{1C 1248A} Poplar.Thank you in advance Jean.
