Hi everyone, can someone help me please. I am trying to find the birth record of my aunty. The birth date and year aren't in the records. Her children believed the birth date we have is the right one? I have tried all the dates around her birth date and the years around. I can find her marriage record and her death record. She has had a passport in the past so her record should be around. Please please can someone give me some advice.

Could she have been registered with a different surname, ...her mother's maiden name perhaps?

Her name was Catherine Mary Roberts, she was born on the 17th of September 1923 we think in Oldham Lancashire. I have looked under her birth mothers maiden name with no look. She died 4th of January 1997. Unfortunatly none of her children know what happened to her death certificate. Any help you can give me will be greatly recieved.
