Can Street Names be Transcribed Incorrectly on the

I am trying to solve a mystery:

My family lived at 5 Tetley Street, Abram, Wigan from 1909 to 1913 (I have records to confirm this).

On the 1891 there is a Tetley Street, Abram and odd numbers from 1-23 are listed.

But, there is no Tetley Street listed on the 1901 - what explanation could there be for this??

Have you looked for any of the 1891 street residents in 1901?

Can you give the name of a family there in 1891 so that we can more easily find the street?
