Hi Tracie

You could try contacting the local library as I know some of them keep copies of local newspapers on microfiche. I found these contact numbers online:

Local Studies & Archives - Local Newspapers
Chiswick: 020 8994 1008 Hounslow: 0845 456 2800
[email protected]

Maybe you could email and ask for suggestions as to where you should search and if you're not able to go in person, whether they do a look-up service on your behalf (possibly for a small fee).

Regards

Athena

Morning

I have just received a cert this morning which gives cause of death Suicide, temprory insanity and I was wondering if anyone has access to old newspapers for Brentford. The person I am looking for is a Dix Bloye Riches who died on 27th June 1867. Registered Isleworth, Brentford, Middlesex. His inquest was held on 28th June 1867, I would love to try and find out a bit more about this person, as I only know very little. Also if there was a mention of a burial for him, I would appreciate that info also, along with anyone who attended.

hopeing somone can help.

thanks in advance
Tracie.
