Try the IGI for baptism....................

What causes you to think he died during the period you quote?

If both are missing, could it be because they emigrated? Or did they have offspring who are on 1871?

Have you looked for the baptism?

Hi Reggie, not on igi only for the marriage don't think they emigrated have found all the children and they did not live with any of those so that is why I think they died during that time

Hi Chris, thanks, Yes the one you found on 1851 cencus is the rright one Icouldn't find them on 1841 there are 2 sons missing on 51 James and richard they were married by then it doesn't say were he was born in shrops but I found a christening in Madeley on the 2/10/1808 but carn't remember where I had it from as it was ages ago even if we find a birth how am I going to know if its the right one without his fathers name? the death in 1866 wasn't him as I sent for the certifcate there were another 2 between 61 and 71 but it gets expensive if none of them turn out to be right. I think he problely got buried at st thomas's church dudley as all the children were christened there and it was near to were they lived. Jackie
