How to I find Scottish births 1970?

Hello!!

Just wondered if there's somewhere to look for a birth in Scotland (possibly Glasgow) of someone in December 1970. I have an Ancestry subscription but only England and Wales birth registers on there.

Scotlandspeople now have records on line, but you cant view the image, you will have to send off to the GRO for the actual certificate.

I don't need the certificate, just want to look for a name, to see if she was registered in scotland. Looking for an adopted sister, so I hoping she wasn't registered under this name. If her birth was registered then I have the wrong person.
