Isabella was my husbands ggggrandmother, she was born in York in 1767 and moved to Colton in what was Lancashire. She died in 1841. I wonder if anyone knows the family and perhaps what her name was before she married.

According to wiki Thirsk is 20 miles from York.

Thank you all for the information about Isabella. I had the information from the 1841 census but I did not know how to find her birth and marriage records, I am very curious to find out how she ende up in Colton, it is a long way from York and in the early 1800's it was quite a journey.
