Is there any reason why a person would not be albe to see his foster records he was fostered from adout 1949 to 1955 he was age 11 at the time thanks for your time Valxxx

From what I recall - fostering records are destroyed once the fostered person goes out into 'the world'. Adoption records are kept for much longer. All I can say is that the person who was fostered would probably marry in their original name.
