Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 51 Send Message	Thanks to Joan and Denis for your replies I have looked on the CWGC, with no success but he is on the army death index. Icould not understand why he was not on the normal BMD index as he died in the UK. But as he died of his wounds I suppose that explains It. Thanks agains Ron

	You say you believe he was buried in the UK. If you search on the CWGC website you will find out exactly where he is buried or commemorated. I certainly have some certificates in the normal format for soldiers dying in the UK. The overseas ones are, in my experience, very abbreviated.

Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 51 Send Message	Hi, Could anyone please tell me if I can obtain a death cert,from the G.R.O in the normal way if the Index details are only listed in the Army death list or would I have to send for the service records.He died of wounds , and I believe he was buried in the U.K. I would be grateful for any help.
