Many thanks, Ann. I noticed that the Ancestry one has my ancestor's address written on the back.

Ancestry has the advantage that it has the back of the card as well as the front (although the back is often blank). But the front is the same on both National Archives and Ancestry.

Thanks Jeanette. I'm inclined to think so, but the one I found on Ancestry looks slightly different to the ones I've got in the past from National Archives!

This may seem to some to be a stupid question, but I want to confirm something before I spend £3.50!

On the National Archives site, the WW1 Medal Cards are listed as that. However, on Ancestry, they are listed as WW1 Medal Rolls Index Cards and I just wanted to check that they are one and the same.
