Hi and thankyou for your replies.

I did try Alberta vital statistics.

I am looking for a relative of my sister in law who she last had contact with in the early 1960's when he emigrated to Edmonton, Canada. His name is Ronald Ian Wilson. In 1961/2 he was living in Sherwood Park, Edmonton.

I emailed the Edmonton central library yesterday and they told me there was a Ronald I Wilson who was last listed in the 1996 telephone directory. So I am wondering if he might have died. He would have been 56 then.

I haven't been able to find a website for BMD's in Alberta. The 1901 and 1911 Canadian censuses are here if it's any help:

Does anyone know of a web-site that gives birth, marriage & death records for Alberta, Canada?

I have used a very useful one for British Columbia "British Columbia Archives' Vital Events", but I can't find a similar one for Alberta.
