Just nudging this back up in case anyone has recently found that a family member was in this rather obscure battalion.

The site has changed address to http://www.25thlondon.com/

It is worth going and having a look if you had a family member in India in ww1.

Thought I'd just push this back up and case anyone missed it the first time.
The 1/25th were a little known battalion and information about them isn't easy to come by.
Hope it might be of interest to somebody.

Hello people ,
If anyone has an interest in the 1/25th London Cyclist Battalion

there is a brilliant web site dedicated to the battalion. For a long time I could find out very little about this battalion on the web but I googled the other week and found this site www.simonpg.com/1-25th/photos.htm

I have recently sent the chap who runs it the albums of photos that my Grandfather Percy Chisnall took during WW1 in India. Interested folks might like to take a look at them.
