If you search freeBMD for Ellen Hoare in Maldon, you get:

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
--------------------------------------
Births Mar 1896 (>99%)
--------------------------------------
Hoare Ellen Maldon 4a 574

If you now click on the "Maldon" link, a window opens which says:
"The district Maldon is in the county of Essex; information about it can be found here."

If you now click on the "here" link, you get to see which places are covered by Maldon: Bradwell-on-Sea is one of these places.

Maldon is my nearest town, if there is any photo`s etc that you would like me to take, please ask. The Maldon area covered many villages on the Dengie peninsular.

Can anyone please tell me where Maldon is?

My great grandmother was born around 1892 - Ellen Hoare , on the 1901 census it says she was born Bradwell Essex, but cannot find a birth for her in 1892 - only 1 ellen hoare registered in Maldon.

Do you think this coincides with my Ellen Hoare??
