My grandfather joined as a crew member on a ship bound for Australia in about 1892ish. The port of embarcation was Liverpool. he was away for approx. 2 years.

I do not know the exact year or the name of the boat.

Can someone please tell me where I go from here, with only this small amount of info?

How do you know he joined a boat if you have no other info? Sorry, I'm a bit confused.
