missing grandmother

my grandmother was born on 9th june 1896 in Malvern or close by but I cannot find her birth on 1901 census. Any idea wher i go from here?

Hi

She could be visiting a relation on census night, name might be spelt wrong or year of birth taken down wrong, do a couple of wildsearches. also geneologist do searches on forenames which might help.

Her name was Alice May Powell and her mothers name was Alathea and fathers name Josiah. Most grateful for any help!
