Could it be Aston, Warwickshire and not Staffordshire?

Are you trying to find the birth registration to order the certificate.?

There are at least two places called Aston,Staffordshire
One is Market Drayton district
Another is on the outskirts of Stafford so maybe Stafford district

Don't know if it helps but Aston, Staffordshire is roughly midway between Newcastle Under Lyme and Market Drayton.
