Hi Glitter Baby

It gets very complicated !

Muxton (Muckleston) is a little parish near Market Drayton where half of it is in Shropshire and the other half is in Staffordshire but all the parish is registered in Market Drayton. Thats why it took me so long to figure it out, it has given me a right headache.

Thanks for the 1861 census - this is the one I am trying to work forward from.

Thanks

Melanie

Hi Christine

Can I ask you where you found the information because I have been looking for 2 days and have put every possible variation in .. obviously not the right one though !

I feel relly cheeky as I keep asking for look ups but I really try my hardest before I do.

I found it on Ancestry, think I just put in Bas* and no surname + birth year and Staffordshire, but can't really remember now.

When they have an unusual name it's sometimes better to do that.
