Hi Rutland Belle and thankyou for your help with my query,

I did actually find that on the net when I first ordered the attestation papers from the National archives so I knew what to expect when they arrived.

However when I ran into trouble I tried to find the site again and couldn't find it . So thankyou very much for that.

Unfortunately the part I dont understand is not in the body of the papers but just scribbled on the side.

Thanks anyway much appreciate you taking the time.

Hi Everyone,

I have been given a tiny little clue regarding my ancestor William Raddenbury b 1808 Exeter/Cullompton when I received his attestation papers from the National Archives.

However I am unable to understand the abbreviations on one of the pages. Does anyone have the knowledge to help me out. I could email you a copy to have a look at.

Regards
Anne (Australia)
