Hi, can anyone tell me the cheapest web site for scottish certs as the one i looked at was £25.00 and too expensive. Thanks

Also the ones i have looked at are confusing and it's not a simple as the English website which you can order on line with no problems

ScotlandPeople.gov,,
£6,--30 credits,,1 credit to find the entry 5 credits to see save and print image,
plus have more information on them than English,

The site is very easy to use if you just read up in FAQ,,

But depends on year some you have to order direct and some are avablible for immediate download which is so much cheaper by far than English ones,,but if you have to send via post or order online £10,,

Hi Debbie

Kay is correct. Since the birth is post-1907, the image is not available online, and would have to be ordered at a cost of £10.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a method of doing this without first registering with ScotlandsPeople and spending a further £6 in buying 30 search credits.

Some details here.....

Why not order from the appropriate local Registrar? It would almost certainly be quicker for later certificates.
