With PAF: File - Export - Partial - Select (choose the person you want the tree to start with) - Descendants. |

When you've done your chart, instead of File - Export Descendant Tree you should have an option File - Export File - Copy/Export Individuals in Descendant Tree which allows you to save as a gedcom. |

You can get the full FTM2006 very cheaply now - try TWR computing - they send abroad. |

That's probably because you have the Starter Edition of FTM Mick, not the full version. |

With FTM you could produce a descendant chart or all-in-one chart, specifying 10 generations, and then export it as a gedcom. |
