"My thread" is something which either you have started, or you have added an answer to.
When you want to come back to it, you can find it by clicking on "My threads" under the top hat. If you started it, you are the only person who can delete it. Once it is deleted, it disappears from the "My threads " list.

If you see something which looks interesting and you want to come back to it later on, you can bookmark it. You do not need to have added anything to it in order to do this.

Don't worry about asking questions, it is difficult at first and if you are wondering about something, then you can bet that others are too

When I delete my questions from the "trying to find board" my own "threads" disappear. What is the difference between "threads and "bookmarks? Sorry to be a pain to all the helpers. Regards Lilian.
