The Ritchie one is a Captain and served in France. It could be that his men had a picture taken with him I suppose.

There are a number of Connellys in the Cameron Highlanders and Queens Own Cameron Highlanders, but none with that number. Are they different Regiments?

Petrina,
I have 4 males on the pic so I guess that one of the could be the above person. I will have a look on Ancestry. Many thanks.

Huia, I will do that thanks for the info.

Strange - perhaps I got the number wrong last time. This time it came up with Alexander Ritchie of the Cameron Highlanders. If you want to see it pm me with your email and I'll send it.

I'll have another go but that is the name for that number in the Cameron Highlanders, which I am presuming is the regiment?

Put them on the www.lostphotos.sgrboards site, see if anybody recognises them.

Petrina,
Sorry it does . I wish some one had thought to put a few details on the back of pic cause its going to drive me mad. I have been given about 30 pics today and not one of them has any info on them but they are all family.
Connelly, Blair are the two main names I think.

John Clark Cameron Highlanders ring any bells? There are medal documents on line on Ancestry.

I just put the number in and several people came up, but he was the first for the Cameron connection.
