I have occasionally had these magazines but although they are sometimes interesting, I found little to help my research.

Have you checked the usual sites for Parish Records - IGI and FreeREG?

I also seem to remember someone on here has some Devon parish records.

There is quite good items in FTM but I find I get more information with GR and Ancestary and because I have to pay postage for Spain it works out expensive I have just cancelled it, what parish records do you need for Devon Sheila

You don't need a researcher to look at parish records.

If you're a long way from the Devon record office, you can view the microfilm for the parish you need at an LDS centre for a minimal charge:

I would like to trace williams parents
william mcdowell b 1792 dock devon married mary ann gerry 1814 stoke damerel devon she was born 1795 ashwater devon died 1837
it was very interesting looking round all the streets where they used to live the guildhall is still there also an egyption building which looked out of place but the dockyard and cemertary has gone i beleave they had grave robbers in the 1800s
