Sorry I posted this on here to find out where to look and then posted for a look-up on the other board as I didn't want to buy 30 credits as this was the only one of my rellies who died in Scotland..that sounds bad but true.

Re Scotlandspeople, if you buy 30 credits do they have to be used up within a certain time span?

I think that up to 1957 you get to see the image and after that you have to send away for the certificate.

Hi Melanie

You can search index on Scotlandspeople Deaths 1855-2006 however you will have to purchase units to view image. 6GBP gives you 30 units. Good value.

Where do I look to find deaths in Scotland ? Have been looking on here until I noticed it didn't include scotland.
