Start with the mother of the children in question, add her 1st husband as her spouse, then add the children they had together.

Go back to the mother again, you need to create a second spouse to her ("add partner"), then you can attach the children born to that relationship.

That way the children will appear with the correct father/mother combination. As long as you have the correct father/mother combination shown when you add the children then everything will appear correctly.

You can do this as many times as needed, so for example if you find someone who married three or four times and had children during each marriage/relationship you can record them all with the correct parents.

Apologies if this has already been asked but I couldnt be bothered trying to scroll through millions of topics.

Is there a way that I can add my parents in my tree, but then add a different father for my sisters?

Only two of the girls have the same mum and dad, and me and my other sister have different dads, but for some reason we are all listed under the same mum and dad.
