I have a spreadsheet on Excel.

It includes (in columns) Surname, Forename, middle name; odd codes I use to show if it's my family, or OH's family, or my One Name Study; yob, all CR years - with a 1 or x in the relevant boxes; year of marriage (I have three of these columns as I had a particularly busy gr grandfather!) year of death; name of spouse.

I usually sort it by surname then forename then yob, but can also sort by which family they are from and for my One Name Study can sort just by forename. Very useful. Is now running to about 20 pages!! but handy for spotting gaps in info and means I don;'t keep looking up the same people in censuses etc! Bit of a pain to keep up to date, but worth it.

I planned my own info sheet, everything about each individual is on one form instead of various forms. I find it very successful

Good evening everyone.
I was wondering if anyone use some sort of table to show relative and info you have collected ie. census bdm and so on.
I was going to make a spread sheet but not sure where to start.
