You wont get any information for those dates 1975/1985 as they have a 75 year closed access on them so totally out the question ,,,,unless they are your own records,!!

I had to wait till 1998 from 1922 inmate for access which had to be got though National Health Trust,,

Hi

You have posted this on 3 different boards now and there is really no need, most people read them all.

As you were advised on your previous threads, the place for Asylum records will most likely be the Country Records Office however you mentioned no dates previously, I doubt very much you will be given access to hospital records so recent due to data protection laws and such like. I had to get permission from the Health Authority for records from 1935 so I really don't think you will get them from 1975.

People who died in Asylums will still be registered in the usual way so you should still find the death on the GRO index, you will need to check the FULL index on Ancestry or Find My Past and then you can order the death certificate.

A2A is Access to Archives and basically lists a whole load of records held by various Records Offices.

Hello, i am very new at this and have no idea what i am doing ! i am looking for death records for asylums in london around 1975/1985 i live in australia can i access records from here for asylums? and what does the A2A website mean?
